This computer was in perfect shape. I love the big screen and how little space it takes up on my desk. The wireless mouse and keyboard also are a great break from wires going in every direction. You just plug the computer in and you are done. It was easy to set it up to my printer as well. Love the computer.

Dont get an older mac, they are not easy to install a fresh OS copy on. Had a less then good erase of OS so i wanted to put on a new one. Absolutely no support for older OS anymore, should have just got a PC and been able to service and use it myself. Never again will I buy a mac.

As a former longtime PC user, this Imac is a superior computer. There has been a hard learning curve, relearning how to use the Apple format. Everything is built in and it interfaces with other software very easily. It was fairly easy to download my PC files, I had to get IWorks in order to get them to format. Later I was introduced to Office for Macs, which works better with my PC files. With Windows 7, I wasn't able to format the same files and had a terrible time getting my old files and templates to work. I recommend Imacs, they are easier to use and the response is fast and you don't have to worry about virus', as much. This is the 2nd. Imac that I purchased thru ebay, and have been very happy with both computers. The computers have a large built in monitor, with 5 USB ports. I purchased an additional powered hub for all the other devises I have, and have had no problems. I recommend buying a reference book, for the operating system that is on the computer. This Imac has everything at your fingertips, Itunes and your photo library are easy to load and access. I also recommend buying an external hard drive for backing up all of your files. This works in conjunction with Time Machine, which is built in. I plugged in my printer and the Imac formatted the machine instantly with no input from me. Everything just works, no screwing around. Apple looked at all the problems PC's have, and built their computers with all the software built in. They solved the problems with memory, speed, and hard drive, by building into these computers a lot of each.Read full review
Like: compact, few cords, brilliant screen, nice stand, fast, and a good value. and of course it's a mac dislike: The glossy screen is very annoying if you are used to a glare resistant screen. If there is anything bright behind you, it can be distracting. You do however get used to it, which is why I guess glossy screens are popular in the PC world. They are indeed more contrasty and sharp looking than the glare resistant ones. replacing anything inside besides the memory is not for the consumer. it requires yanking the screen, and carefully navigating the wiring harnesses. It's very easy to make a mistake an destroy your entire computer. If you do need to replace anything, like say the video card, and it's out of warrantee you might as well discard the computer because the replacement cost will exceed a used one. therefore I advise buying an extended warrantee on these.Read full review
Purchased in May/June of 2015. Still upgrades to Yosemite and now I'm running the 10.11 El Capitan beta. Still has great performance and I use it every evening for about 3 hours. Bright display, stylish appearance and is soooooo quiet. I highly recommend this to anyone that is need of an easy to use computer with hassle free upgrades. Cons: all 2012 prior model Macs can't use Air Drop with newer model Mac/iOS8 or newer. It's difficult to upgrade anything past the RAM. CNET classifies everything, but that to be 4/5 stars challenging or greater. Then again. Why upgrade a perfect machine? experience: IT Service Desk Tier II and Mac user since Intel Macs
