This compilation of previously unreleased music from Anthony Hamilton blends sensual soul, powerful passion and spiritual sensibility to create a complex emotional journey into the core of what man should be. The stand out hit of this collection of songs is track three, Can't Let Go, a powerful testament and declaration of love in the face of adversity. It's a safe bet that this song is the reason why this CD sells. However, once you listen to the entire list of songs, it becomes clear that this is no ordinary neo-soul, paint by numbers from the past portrait. You become a part of the lyrics in songs like Preacher's Daughter and you see yourself in the words of The Truth. The sixth track, Pass Me Over, soars a uplifting spiritual and at the same time, evokes bittersweet memories of loved ones lost. The quirky and sweet, Sista Big Bones, celebrates the beauty and strength of being non conventional. Over all, this is a magnificent work of art given to us by a phenomenal performer and prolific writer... and you won't let go of this CD any time soon.Read full review
I am a true Anthony Hamilton fan. He is one of my favorite Neo-Soul Artist. This cd tells about the real life issues. I just saw him in concert, he sounded just like his cd and more. This is the second time I've purchased this cd, because I have scratched up the other one.
This was for my mom and she was happy with the purchase thank you

I absolutely love this Cd. I had a copy but I lost it in my move to florida. So I was determined to get it again. It has a lot of songs that I jam to in the car, or listen to while I cook or read. I was skeptical of his music when he first came out but now I love him. My kids even know a lot of his songs from hearing them so much.
Anthony Hamilton's "Ain't nobody Worryin" is a hit with me because he starts to focus more on his spiritual roots and church oriented themes. That is a place most artists won't elaborate on. He also touches on the social shortcomings of today's society in his lyrics, "ain't nobody prayin, when they kneel down low all they doin is tying their shoe strings". This is a must have.
