As all of the Beverly Lewis Books, She has a tendency to draw you into the Amish Community as if you were right there with the Characters. She also has a way to incorprate Bible Scriptures into all her book's. This Book as well as the other's in The Annie's People Series, takes you to a Amish Setting of Annie caught up in her forbidden art,Falling for a Englisher Ben Martin, who her Father order's her not to ever see again due to him catching her in English attire. Who in turn turn's out to be Issac Hochstetler a friend from her past who was thought to be dead, but who was Kidnapped at the age of 4 year's old. It is just Amazing how Beverly Lewis can twist & turn the story line to keep it intense so you don't want to put down the book. If you read this book, you will find yourself wanting more.Read full review
This book by Beverly Lewis is outstanding. I have learned so much about Old World Amish and "beachy" Amish life. I felt I was there in Lancaster County as an on-looker. Oh how I wish stories like this would never end. But, the end was just as the Lord had intended and only the Lord is capable of weaving a story so complex. This author must walk closely with the Lord to have been penned these gifted words. I love the characters and hope to learn more about them in Ms. Lewis' future novels. Thank you for this opportunity to write this review. Charlotte Radcliffe, Freeland, MD
I love Amish books.Although I don't agree with all their beliefs at least they are good clean reading.

I bought it because I have read several of Beverly Lewis' books and totally enjoyed them. I was not disappointed. It only took me two days to read it, This book was very well written and interesting. It catches you and makes you feel like you are part of the story. I really enjoy reading about other cultures, and the Amish are one of my favorites.
