The directions were somewhat confusing, I had to fiddle with it a bit before I could figure it out. Unfortunately I feel that the proportions of the head to the body was too large and I had to cut the head size down to make it more realistic. I found that eliminating the seam that separates the neck from the face by adding the face pattern to the front body pattern made a smoother transition and was MUCH easier to sew. I then needle sculpted the chin where I wanted it to be, it was more pleasing to the eye. The clothing patterns were okay, unfortunately not as accurate to the period as they could have been. All in all it was a workable pattern, but it took a lot of work.
