It is very similar to the original Interlude Man except that Black Iris has a slight juicy sweetness undertone that the original does not have.     Hmmm

    It's a different scent and very strong I do like it but it's definitely a fragrance for certain occasions and will do best in the winter you wear this in any type of summer type weather it's going to choke people out for sure but overall decent scent I like it

    In my humble opinion this fragrance may not be for everyone. This is truly for the mature fragrance collector. This is a man’s man’s fragrance, one that I truly enjoy! This is a fragrance that I would highly recommend for any man who isn’t afraid of being strong and mature. This is a very beautiful composition in my humble opinion!

    Blue Beast Original vs Blue Beast Iris

    I have both Interlude & Interlude Iris & they're virtually identical to be completely honest. Seems more like an Amouage marketing ploy than anything else. But obviously it worked! LOL! Yes the Iris softens Interlude out & makes is just slightly more wearable because both are STRONG but the Iris tames it down just a little. Is it worth purchasing if you already have the original Interlude? No, I don't believe so but if you don't have either I'd probably go with Iris not because it's better but because I think you can get away with wearing it in a few more situations.

    Challenging but great cold weather scent

    Lasts all day and it cuts through the cold air. Interlude Black Iris is also a little more appealing to people because the iris rounds the edges. It’s still challenging and deep like the original and Overture but sits well on the skin.
