I bought this book due to the fact that my family and I are trying to change our lifestyles. We had gotten into eating on the go and each of us had gained weight. My husband had a yearly check up and he flunked, due to his high glucose and cholesterol. This book has easy to make recipes. It is also gives a great deal of info on sugars and fats in the foods we eat and how to switch to make healthier choices. I am glad I purchased this book.
This is a great cookbook for those looking for recipes for low fat and low cholesterol meals. Recipes are simple and easy to prepare. Use of spices and other natural flavorings make each dish a pleasure to eat. In comparision to other cookbooks of the same type, this book gives you nutrition analysis and cooking tips. Thanks to the American Heart Association for a great book.
This a "down to earth" cookbook. Healthy recipes that you can actually prepare without having alot of cooking experience. This a nice cookbook and definitley one you should have in your "collection" of cookbooks:)
