In this story from the ‘Angelina Ballerina’ series, Angelina the mouse goes with her Uncle Louie and Cousin Henry to the Big Cat Mountains for an outdoor adventure. The trip up the mountain is long and tiring, and when they reach the top and are making camp, Uncle Louie asks Angelina and Henry to collect wood for the fire. Angelina and Henry, instead of looking for wood, play and wander deeper and deeper into the forest, and as its beginning to get dark, they realize they are lost. When they are caught in a mountain thunderstorm at night, Angelina tries to help Henry to not be afraid. Uncle Louie finds them at last and they return to camp together. The beautiful and whimsical full page illustrations create an atmosphere of the outdoor adventure and compliment the story. Reading level is ages 4-8 (32 pages)Read full review
