These bags say that they’re rated for 20-40 degrees, but that’s being overly optimistic. I’d say the range is 40 degrees +- 5 degrees. It’s certainly not nearly as warm as an actual 20 degree bag. For the price it is relatively packable but weighs in at around 3.5 lbs. The compression sack has janky stitching and a bit of unnecessary plastic, but it works. I’m 5’10 and 145 lbs and the bag will fit someone a little bit wider than me, but no more than an inch taller. Larger folks ought to keep shopping. As an introductory bag it works, but I would suggest saving a bit more for an MSR bag if you plan on backpacking or relying on the bag as your only insulation device. Stay safe and sleep well.
