I think that this is as good a lineup as 1969-1971....songs are great, Greg is singing awesome! I love these guys and the DVD Live at the Beacon is also highly recommended, which is where they got these recordings, thanks I was hoping that this would be available after I was blown away by the DVD. Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes on guitar/slide....what can I say? it sure takes the sting out of Dicky Betts being gone...I am just glad that these wonderful musicians are still kickin it I hope to see them live soon, If you haven't seen them live you are missin out....buy this CD and Live at the Filmore and you have got some great live performances......I recommend reading a portion of the bible on a daily basis as well John 17:3.....you will be blessed.
The album includes a fresh take on some Allman Brothers classics and the guitar work is excellent, even minus Dickey Betts.

Not a bad combination of songs and the talents of Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes with their long standing percussion duo, with the blues influenced Gregg Allman on his old Hammond B3, and the occasional acoustic. Definite Warren Haynes long standing influence on the songs as co-writer. However, not as good as the previous release of Play All Night - Live at the Beacon Theatre 1992.
I have been an Allman Broes fan since 1969. This album is top notch! a must have folowers of fine southern rock.
