Alexander's Care of the Patient in Surgery
This is the Bible of the Perioperative nurse, more important even than the AORN Standards and Recommended Practices. Alexanders goes step by step through the operating room, everything from safety for the staff to positioning the patient to prevent injuries. If you work in the Operating room and have plans to stay for any length of time you should have access to this book.
