When the house was constructed, there was no ventilation in the bathroom. That's more than odors, it includes moisture and mildew. This unit is an "all-in-one" unit with light, fan and decorative. Installation was very easy. The drawback is that there should be an "anti-draft" flap in the unit. Since it is vented outside, consider in the winter, when the cold wind blows across the outside vent, it acts like a "wick" drawing your "heated air" up through the unit, and helps drain the house of heat. The flap, which is quite cheap, would help save your heating bill. Once installed, help dry out the bathroom and with "multi-switch" light toggles, one can run power to the unit, turn on just the light, or just the vent, or both. The price was very good for the value. The fan is a little loud, but not too disturbing. Good value.Read full review

This fan replaced an old, boring, loud fan that was in our house when we purchased it. It was easy to install, quiet, and much more attractive than I originally thought. Great purchase!

looks good...workes well...overall good product. The flapper was bent when we got it so we heated it up and pressed it out...works fine.

This vent/light unit is great. It does not look like a vent at all. It’s much nicer looking unit to put on a ceiling than the run of the mill flat units. It’s not super quite, but it works great.
