This is a good descriptive book about Aikido. As a student, it helps to review techniques learned in class. I would not recommend this book if oyu plan to learn Aikido on your own. The descriptions are a bit confusing unless you have practiced the moves before. Some pictures are grainy and at times it is difficult to determine who is Uke and Nage. Overall, I have been using the book a lot and would receommend it as a good basic guide.
I enjoyed this book. Its design and content were well done. A nice addition to my studio bookshelf.

It is an overall good book. I have read many martial arts books, but not many on Aikido. I have now read a few, but still lacking in the "have read" of the art. But, what I have seen, it is a very well done book.
