I got this testbook for my advertising class. I've read a few of the assigned chapters so far and I like the writing in the book. Most textbooks are drab and boring, cut and dry text. This book, however, is a pretty easy one to read. I've caught myself chuckling at a few of the silly things they say within the text. It's also very informative. I recommend it for anyone taking an advertising course.
This book was the required text for a grad class in Advertising. While the rest of the class was paying well over $100 for the hard-back edition, I paid about half of that for the identical soft cover version. The book itself is excellent -- lots of up-to-date examples and easy-to-grasp concepts. Great end-of-chapter summaries and exercises, too. Well organized.
I bought this book for my marketing class. The book is an easy read and has up to date material and cases.
I bought this book for my spring semester class bacuse the book store had it for like $200. It was a great deal and having the notes in it already is a big help.
