His legal claim is excepted then treachery abounds as an assassin attempt to kill him in the fight Robin escapes and is branded an outlaw wanted by the sheriff. He takes up with the men who live in the forest and over time teaches a group of men not to steal to survive, but Help his fellow man who is suffering from the same unjust laws that has driven them into the forest,Robin turns the men from outlaws and thieves into moral men who strive to right the wrongs of an unjust ruler.I find this series be very watchable for a T.V. show of it's era I was very surprised by the evolution of the character and the introduction of the characters. The episodes are 25 minutes long and quiet enjoyable so far I have watched about half the first season and I haven"t been disappointed at all. I have just paid for season two and plan on seeing how long this series ran. It's in black and white so I doubt a teenager would take the time, but for the forty and up crowd who are sick of modern television buy this and enjoy, Take an adventure into a simpler time when wrong was wrong and right was right, when you could rise up and fight injustice. The show may be in black and white but so are the issues this show is a steal for what they are asking and what you'll get in return, good old fashioned entertainment I would give this five stars out of five. Robin Hood has integrity. Many of the actors come from the Stage. The writing is literate.

I bought the DVD because I remember watching this Robin Hood show when I was a youngster. I don't remember all the episodes that are on the DVD but it was as fun as I thought it would be to watch the shows. My grandson is at an age where he enjoys shows like this also rather than the current offerings. All in all, I am glad I bought the DVD and enjoyed reliving a portion of my childhood.
