Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Vintage Stereo Receivers
When I was a kid I saw the Advent 300 in a stereo store and had to have it. Only one problem. No money. Well 30 years later I bought one that wasn't working but in really good cosmetic condition. I sent it out to Dave Eaton to be refurbished and it came back and works flawlessly.(Thanks Dave Great Job!) Sounds great! Looks great. Advent made some of the best stereo stuff ever and with a little help still is today!

replaced one knob on mine I acquired from girlfriends dad. originally paired with a crown amp sounded great, once I got my hands on it had input selector replaced and repair guy offered to buy it from me, NO DICE. stand alone this thing makes my vinyl sing, cd's and concert dvds are alive with warm richness. paired with klipsch bookshelf speakers and pioneer bottom end, I cant beat the sound. repair guy was vietmanese said it would last another 30 years called it a TANK. he sure wanted it bad now I know why. Enjoy.

I ordered this as non working for very little money! Yet it was expertly packed and shipped quickly. I found it to be very clean for the age. I put on a new set of jumpers and it sprang to life! It needs new switches and professionally checked but I found a place to do the work. I have looked for one of these in decent condition for a long time and finally found one worthy of being saved! I got a bargain and a piece of audio history. I am quite pleased.

Nice pre-amp & phono circuit, tuner ok. Had to train myself to turn speakers off, then power up & turn speakers on or loud pop thru speakers. Bought mine in 1978 after reading reviews. Slide switches need cleaning now & then but still sounds nice. Small, compact no frills design. Low wattage output but can hook to power amp. Clean sound!
