Simon (Devon Bostick) is a High School student who is being raised by his Uncle. His parents had both died in an auto accident and Simon at the urging of his drama teacher is encouraged to write about his father being a mid-east terrorist. The movie is difficult to follow in that it jumps around a lot, one moment you are listening to Simon talk to his class mates and the next you are at an airport where Simon's mother is being arrested for attempting to smuggle a bomb onto an airplane. As I said, difficult to follow. The movie does answer all your questions in the end and it was entertaining enough to keep me interested in watching the movie till the end. Rent this one unless you have the patience to sit all the way through the movie.
