Intro chapters cover the basics: create a website, add text, add graphics, add links, format it all, use CSS. Later advanced lessons also very useful: CSS layout, Behaviors, Forms, Multimedia. Anyone who claims this book is a waste of time either hasn't read it or has no concept of web design.
Absolute and total waste of money. I can't beleive Adobe even sells this. Its like a half baked crappy manual. Adobe has super good online tutorials for free that are fantastic. I have no idea why I bought this. Don't ever ever waste your time with this classroom in a book thing. My success came from watching tutorials over and over, doing little projects based on the tutorial I saw and then moving on to another online tutorial.
I bought this to learn Dreamweaver CS3. It does the job it says it will. Great book for beginners who have never used Dreamweaver ever.
Covers very basic things.. if you know NOTHING about Dreamweaver than it may be okay... Like he said above, I think one would be better off with online tutorials..
I really like this book it had helped me a lot I honestly enjoyed it and I will reccomended to begginers it really gives you a good start up. Some exercises lack of details but other than that it is a very good book.
