For what you get it is a great starter bench for anyone in a tight money situation that doesn't want to spend a lot on a weight bench. Easy to assemble with instructions doesn't take too much time to put together. Max weight you could get away with on the press is about 200lbs. Maybe 220 with a proper bar and someone to spot you. But I don't recommend that due to the bench max overall weight with user is about 300-400lbs. At least from what I weigh at the moment. The leg extension can handle up to 75-100lbs. I do recommend standard weight clips to hold the plates from moving (75lbs clip will fit, 100lbs will not have clip fit onto extension) . The spotter hooks are a huge plus for what you get especially if you workout solo . A lot of the standard benchs don't come with one without paying a price. The adjustment for the flat to incline press is a bit wonky but still works. There is a bit of side to side play on the head/back rest pad but that is really the only flaw I was able to find. Overall a great starter bench if money is tight and looking for something to get the job done.Read full review

SOME design features that need to be mentioned for future buyers & should be corrected for 5 star rating. Leg extension addition has obvious veering slightly to left when assembled correctly, showing lack of quality control. Spent most of time assembling product with the issue of lining up screws in attaching small part of bench to metal base. Comfortable but cheaply designed construction of actual bench, however metal base is sturdy. NOT ALL BARBELLS will fit properly onto barbell supports- BARBELLS need be have no ridges -only smooth metal rod all across to fit. The Barbell supports are way too wide. A negative feature I encountered.
