A good mixture of horror and comedy in one final grand conclustion. Eventhough a I love this movie and all the stars involved. I have all the utmost respect for them. I feel once comedy found it's way into horror flic's the horror generation was over for the 30's. This movie's scripts and other treatments are some of the finest acting in one movie. A real late nighter to be enjoyed over and over again. thx JS
A classic comdey with Abbott and Costello, laughs and thrills as Bud and Lou get accidentally involved with Dracula, the Wolfman and Frankenstein, all played by the actual actors who portrayed them in the classic horror films. Lou and Bud deliver crates to the Wax Museum and find the contents come to life, Lou is slated to become the new "pliable" brain for Frankenstein. Twists and turns and classic slapstick comedy! A wonderful family film with a G rating!
This movie brings me back to my childhood. Things were simpler then and comedy had no four letter words. These two classic comics of the 40/50's were two originals that no longer exist. They had their routine down to a science and Costello's body language was amazing. Also it is great to see Lon Chaney Jr., and Bela Lugosi in a comedy.
Quality was ecellent. Bought because I like old movies, especially Abbott and Costello. The special effects were great for the time period that the film was made. I especially like the old black and white films.
i bought it because it's a childhood favorite and because i had already bought one on ebay but it was a dvd burn and i didnt like it poor quality so i found a vhs copy and its a lot better if you want it ebay has it no doubt
