I have read several other books in the Left Behind series and found them to be very entertaining. I was less impressed with this book. Perhaps the audio production has something to do with it (it is an abridgement), but I had dificulty getting involved with the story. It may have something to do with the fact that I was not up to speed on the Trib Force, the Global Community, New Babylon, and other key elements of the book before I gave this tape a listen. I found the prose choppy, the character and setting development lacking, and I had a hard time making it through the first 30 minutes of cassette #1. Things picked up a bit after that, but I can only give this book a C+.
I have read all the LEFT BEHIND books in the 1990's. I have been getting all the audio tapes now so I can listen to then. I want my family to hear these too. I know they they don't read. So maybe they will listen and share the information about the end times. Which I believe we are in. Bonnie
