I've never owned an expensive phone. They do lots of things and have lots of apps I have no use for. When my basic Samsung slider phone crapped out I wanted to get a cheap flip phone to replace it without having to get another one from AT&T and having a new 2 year contract start over. So I purchased a used Samsung A107 flip phone for 12 bucks. If I had held out I could have got it possibly cheaper but I needed a phone right away. This is a basic Go Phone that was even simpler than the slider I had. I really like this phone. It has little to no apps, no camera, no extra screen or buttons on the exterior. Nothing to accidentally drain away battery power while in your pocket. the screen inside is small, the graphics are kind low quality but all in all it does the job to help me navigate through the phone. The phone has basic call and text capabilities. The sound and volume are better, louder and clearer than the better quality slider phone I had. This phone is so basic that I really do like it. It does what it supposed to do... be a phone. Battery life is awesome at over a week and a half between charging. I don't make excessive calls but even then my slider phone only lasted 4 days tops due to all the extraneous crap on the phone to suck up battery power. If you want a great basic no nonsense cell phone and nothing more then this Samsung A107 flip will fit the bill.Read full review
This phone is great for someone that does not need all the bells and whistles. Very simple and easy to use. Im buying it for my 16 yr old son who has lost or broken 3 phones so far. If something like that happens again, the low cost of this phone will make it easier to deal with.
This phone can not be used with att. I use att as my carrier. It is useless to me. I went to the att store for help with it. They could not get it to work with my att sim card. I had to buy another phone.

I spent $15 on this phone when my "frilly" phone broke. AT&T wanted $100 for another, then tried selling me another model which was $100-200 more. Frankly, I'm tired of planned obsolescence. The new flat screens are amazing if you *need* a temporary "OMG" phone, but I don't. You'll like this if you want a phone that WORKS, holds a battery forever, and can receive texts/phone calls. Honestly, this phone is awesome for the money, and you can switch the SIM from a contract phone to this with no problem. I made a phone call 2 minutes after switching over. When I renew contracts, I'll still hold on to this sturdy model. Kudos to Samsung for creating a reliable alternative to the ever-breaking flatscreen.
Well...I dialed a number and someone elses phone rang and they answered it and we talked and then the uncomfortable silence because it was a wrong number and we hung up and I like the phone because its cheap and reliable and it has pretty packaging and its all silvery and maybe I've had enough caffeine!!
