Very weak and not a good value for money motherboard. It has very limited compatibility with RAM modules and cannot utilise all the avalaible installed memory. Very tricky to use it in Dual ram mode, and even if you make it work, after restart it won't work in dual mode, but it will recognise only half the installed memory. Also, after reboots with the same RAM modules and CPU, sometimes it will work at 800MHz bus, but most of the times its restricted to 667MHz bus (I have no idea why, I have installed the latest official BIOS version). SLI mode work fine, but the board it self its very slow to boot and recognise devices. Audio capatibilities and peripheral conectivity acceptable but in all counts its a very poor quality product.
I've been using this board for several years with great results. One of the best assets of the M2N-SLI is the wide range processors, memory and graphics cards this board with take. It also has RAID capability allowing gamers to build for performance(RAID0) or Business Users to build for data security(RAID1). This board also works very nice with the new Microsoft Windows 7 operating system; supporting many of the power saving features offered by the operating system, giving it the GREEN seal of approval.
A great deal and still a powerful board if you have some decent cards to SLI with. The used cpu's for this are so cheap its sick. I put a 2.7 GHZ in this thing with 8 gigs of ram and two older nvidia cards in. Running windows 7 with no issues and still games well. Under 50 bucks and I had older parts to add so it was well worth to recreate a decent spare gamer pc for guests.
