This is a good purchase for upgrading a laptop that has a single core processor which is low in wattage and speed. i changed out an Athlon 64 1.6. The lower L2 cache per core on the AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-53 - 1.7 GHz Dual-Core does not detract from it's performance over the single core. i am pleased with this purchase and the customer is happy with the laptop.

This is really a great processor. Installed in my laptop with ease, replacing the old single core. I never have any lag, this is perfect for running 3d games and works well with Ubuntu Linux.
my processor is a amdtk53hax4dc and has an "N" and the bottom right corner and the 3 that i purchased did not and would not work with my laptop
