Very forgiving and easy to hit. Adams have been one of my favorites for years. I've tried other clubs but have gone back to Adams every time.

It is a set of irons that you really have to get used to. It will take some playing and practice to get used to these irons. I wish now I had taken another set that I know I would have enjoyed more than these and that is a set of progressive irons. You live and learn. However, I am determined that I will make good use and get used to these irons one way or another.

The purchase process was excellent. The condition of the used clubs were exactly as described by the seller and seller was of great help. I have been practicing with the clubs and have played with them three times. Overall I'm satisfied. I seem to hit all of the clubs a bit farther than my former clubs and as hyped they are mostly forgiving. I really believe that when I have more time to practice and play with them I will find that they meet and/or excede my expectations. The most difficult thing so far has been adjusting to their weight. They are extremely light and require some swing adjustments.
I purchased this set because I was looking for more accuracy & distance than I had with my Nike set. Being an older player I had really noticed a drop off in distance. I only played two games with my new set before injuring my back. I had the best two rounds I have had for sometime & feel confident that I will further improve. The biggest thing to get used to is having a 6 Hybrid which seems a bit strange to date & I would have preferred the 6 to be the same design as the 7 iron. The feel of the set is really good, plus the set is excellent value.
I bought these clubs because I have been using the Adams A03 set and likes them very much. I wanted the 6 and 7 Hybrids which the A02 set didn't have. The A12 6 and 7 hybrids are wonderful and make the purchase worthwhile BUT the new A12 4 and 5 hybrids are disappointing. I can't get as much distance as I could with the older A03 4 and 5 hybrids so I have returned to the old 4 and 5 hybrids. The A03 4 and 5 also tend to draw while the new A12 4 and 5 don't. The rest of the set 8,9, PW are similar to the A03s. I had bought an A07 gap wedge and the newA12 gap wedge is similar to that. Overall I get so many great shots wtih the new 6 and 7 hybrids I an not disappointed in the purchase but I perhaps should have boughht only these tow clubs instead of the whole set.
