Fits my needs.
Works as advertised. Note: this part is for actuating a vacuum throttle-kicker. 1 port to Manifold vacuum, 1 to actuator, and it has a vacuum bleed to release the vacuum upon loss/shutdown of power. Will work in conjunction with a emissions throttle-kicker that has 3 vacuum ports. Use the vacuum bleed, 3rd port, on the emissions solenoid to connect. This solenoid can replace the emissions solenoid for non-AC application. My 2 cents. ChrisWorks as advertised. Simple but Great Valve.
I bought this to hook up a Vacuum cutout for an exhaust . works on 12v operation. only had to run 1 wire to it and grounded the 2nd wire to the body of the car. I tied into an existing vacuum line. Valve is Normally open so the outlet will vent to atmosphere so your vacuum device will not hold when you shut of the switch which is nice. When you apply 12v the switch will connect vacuum from the inlet to the outlet. Nice mounting hole with tab sticking out to bite into the metal so valve wont rotate. Simple but great. Great Alternative to Expensive NOS / obselete parts.
Great alternative replacement part for older Cadillacs. I used this on my 70 Deville and it was a great alternative to buying $100+ NOS parts, or not much cheaper, used parts... It is a 'ported' valve, and I noticed the vacuum 'hissing' sound was a little louder than the previous one. I Definitely recommend this part!
