Ricky Schroder plays a fine role in this "fact-based" story when he promises his sick mother he'll keep his brothers together after her death. Their father was uncaring for the boys and used any funds or monies for his own personal needs including booze. Tragedy after tragedy strikes as the brothers find themselves split-up with state court decisions as Terry O' Kelly (Schroder) takes to working nearly round-the-clock to provide food and a roof over their heads. This was a very heartwarming made-for-TV movie that all ages can enjoy. Also stars a young Stephen Dorff. The dvd is in Dolby Digital 5.1 and most of the picture quality is good but my one complaint is that there are certain portions of the movie that have a flickering and minor picture breakup in a few spots. It is still well worth the purchase.Read full review
