You won't believe it, but there are many, many social dance clubs that play this cd, because of its Latin Mambo tracks. The hit song "Mambo Number Five" is especially popular with the line dance crowd, because of its authentic and infectious rhythm. Lou Bega's voice is a very pleasing baritone, in the same vein as Buster Pointdexter, which I might add, has a similarly dance-able hit called "Hot Hot Hot." This is a good cd to have if you are a dancer.
Though familiar with the hit single, I'd never before heard the entire album- it slaps! ☆☆☆☆☆+

I just purchased Lou Bega's CD, "A Little Bit of Mambo". I love this cd and used to own a copy years ago, but it was stolen. Lou Bega rocks and I am so glad I found this cd again. I love the rythm and tone of the music. It makes me want to get up and dance!!!!
I bought this CD because I used to own it a long time ago. I remembered how I loved the music, sound, and Lou Bega's singing voice. I love this CD because of the writing of the music, and the instrumentation (I love electronics, and he uses that in this CD) - it is a club/dance style, but not only that, some of it has the style of music from the past: like the 20's or 30's. The only reason that I sold the CD in the first place was personal reasons regarding the lyrics, wich are a bit adult and all, but I still love the sound, and now that I have a big sound system, it really booms and moves the room.
Great cd
