I love Darlene Love. I was so happy to see this CD for sale. You cannot find this CD in any store. I felt lucky to be able to find it. I played it all through the Christmas Season. I have a feeling I will continue to play it even after the Season is over. You don't see Darlene Love as a guest on many TV programs. Once a year Dave Letterman used to have Darlene on his Christmas show. I used to look forward to it. When it was Dave's last show, I recorded the show so I can play the segment with Darlene on it as much as I want to see it. Whenever I have company, I play the show for them. I played the CD for all my friends since getting it. The Cd was well worth the money as it had all her hits on it with a few surprise hits by other artists. Once again, I am so satisfied with my purchase.Read full review

I've been looking an entire year for this cd. Being a baby boomer with parents who liked rock and roll, this is what we listened to in the mid 60's on the radio and I still love it. In my opinion, this is Christmas collection captures Phil Spector at his best, you can feel the wall of sound he is famous for, as it rushes over you like a wave Darlene Love's voice on "Santa Clause is Coming to Town" will give you chills and Ronnie Spector (need I say more, just her name is enough) has never sounded better than on "I saw Mommie Kissing Santa Claus" There are only one or two tracks where the production is not as pronounced, but that doesn't take anything away from the song. The artists that were chosen to be on the album/cd certainly were a fine representation of the American talent around then. Their voices were warm, clear, clean, crisp, natural and Spector was a recording genius at showcasing this. To sum it up, if you're looking for great rock and roll Christmas music for your next holiday gathering or to listen to in the car on your way to work, you can sing along or get up and dance. I recommend this one, you won't regret it, if you can find it! Good luck.Read full review
This music takes me back to my teen years. It was great then and stil is. Mr. Spector had some of the best groups and arrangements of music ever. Initially this album semed obscure, but fortunately has found its place. Glad the radio stations play some of the selections. This is one of the best Christmas albums to have in your collection. The songs will make you smile.
I had this album (yes album) and it was the best rock & roll Christmas album of all time. When you see a lot of Christmas movies you will here songs from this album. Phil Spector's wall of sound was used on this album. Leon Russell was one of the piano players and Sonny Bono was a backup singer when this album was made and released in 1963. I was very happy to get a CD on eBay of this great album... Thank you
