The video tape broke inside the vcr the first and only time i was able to watch the movie. The length wise sqaure plastic piece that protects the film of the tape broke off entirely. Leaving the film exposed. I was gonna pop the piece back onto the tape but was unable to because the one corner (where the piece and tape connect) broke off.

This VHS tape was purchased as a Christmas present.I'm very pleased with the condition of this product especially since it is a previously viewed tape. The movie itself is one of my all time favorites as it depicts a great time in my childhood. It makes me think back to those days and my own memories of what I was doing then. Although I didn't grow up in the Bronx, it reminded me of my old neighborhood and those I grew up with. DeNiro & Palminteri are fantastic in their roles; very believable portrayals. I highly recommend this to any fan of either of these actors.
I've bought the original VHS just as part of a "collection" of the most rappresentative things of this part of my life, as for example Black Boy, by Richard Wright. A Bronx tale is, I think, my best movie: I've seen it about 5 times. I don't know why but I love this film: nothing which concerns the actors or the fact that it's about italian people, as me . Just fallel in love with this film, with its history, actors, places, songs. I love it, maybe 'couse I'd like to live in that period and in America. There're important meanings in this films, of course, as: Don't waste your talent.
A powerful movie starring Robert De niro and awesome actor Chaz Palminteri, both play exciting, and brilliant parts. Two good actors did a great job portraying enemies in the 60's while De niro's son (francis Capra) has conflicting feelings on who he should follow, De niro his hard working father with good morals or palminteri the neighborhood crime boss. This is a movie that one can watch over and over again and still get excited with every line.
