This is a fantastic way to trim brass. I had to trim .010 inch off of 150 pieces of rifle brass. Follow the easy directions for set up, however what is not mentioned is that you need to lubricate the cutter head (in my case every 15 cases or so). If you don't, you will be working dry metal against dry metal and it will shorten the life of the cutter as well as subjecting your brass to having rough and jagged edges. It's very easy to lubricate, just lift the cutter assembly out, give it a quick wipe, and spray it with a very small amount of oil/lubricant.

This along with the Quick trim its much faster and better than the Lee trimmer you use with a drill. Of course when I was younger the other one was great. My fingers get tired locking brass into the holder. I like this way much better using your reloading press to trim the brass.

Although there were not many directions for use it makes the job a lot easier than a bench type.

This trim die works very well and speeds up the reloading process. Once you purchase the trimmer tool, then all you have to do is purchase a trim die and use the same trimmer tool. It is very easy to set up and use.

I have used the Le Zip Trim in the past, and decided to try the Lee Quick trim system. After getting several dies sets for the trimmer, I found that all worked well, including the Lee Quick Trim Die in 223 caliber.
