Frontline Plus has always worked for my then puppy and now 2 year old Yorkie and earlier for an older dog years ago. I guess I must have been a very lucky user as some users online have reported that their dogs suffered adverse reactions. I will continue using Frontline Plus until an adverse reaction appears. When that time comes, I hope never, a needed change of medication, I am not sure its competitors are any better than Frontline Plus after reading competitors' reviews years ago and now.

This product didn't help my dog, l used all three vials within two months and my poor dog was still covered in fleas.

I have used Front line on my Shih Tzu inside dogs for the past 2 years. They are inside dogs but do go out to take care of buisness and my youngest always manages to get out on occasion to other peoples yards. Sophie, age 3 has servere flea allergies and other skin allergies called dermatitus. We have her on holistic expensive food and even had her anal glands expressed trying to alieve her misery and constant rubbing of the spot above her tail on the bottom of chairs. SInce being on frontline it killed the very few fleas that we found on them and also completely keeps Sophies dermatitus under control so she can be happy. I highly reccomend this product.
Alternating with Advantix, as per advise of vet, seems to be the best control. Seresto was a major failure. Cheap Walmart type brands also fail.
