I Have played these guitars since the 80's back then I had a $3,800.00 Model Gm4 American Made I got mar r ied and sold that guitar a bad decision then I saw the new Spirits and was like wow that's affordable and I had such confidence in the Strinberger name I thought give it a try I purchased a Black one a white one and thought something is wrong they are square boxes so you play blind even if you don't want to they weigh nothing and are as unstable as any beginner toy Guitar, I quickly decided to try a Steinberger Synapse From the mind of (Ned Himself)the day I got it I realized that this is a real Steinberger it was nice and heavy almost 8 lbs it is as stable and sounds as good as that GM4 in the 80s only cheaper it is a black one I sold the "Spirits" to a guy purchasing for his young boys to travel with and learn on they are fine for that $300.00 each they were both mint we it cases I see them here for $475.00-$700.00 I'm shocked to see that they are selling that guitar too unsuspecting customers they are just innocent sellers they don't know anything except the name....The Steinberger Synapse is a Guitar For Professionals the electronics top notch perfect balance and is ergonomically designed so it sets on your hip with a cut away and you can see yourself play of you like looking just no comparaton...Also I see The Barra tone SS2FPA model being thrown out here at $1,300.00 you are paying for perception it has a sliding capo which you can buy a capo for $2 bucks if you want Barra tone which is what Black Sabbath tunes too perhaps this is a great guitar don't get me wrong they are ultra stable great guitars but to list it at $1,300.00 your getting ripped take 30 seconds and tune down yourself if you want to play Black Sabbath....yes I know the Piezo in the bridge gives you an Accoustic Guitar in the Bridge...think about it the word Accoustic is sound waves traveling through air and then bouncing off of wood and coming from a sound hole this piezo is a good attempt but sounds just like any other electric guitar playing the part of an accoustic...Get an Accoustic Guitar you will feel 1000 times bigger...Read full review
