I've had one of these for many years and wouldn't go camping without it, even though I camp with a tent. It sits in the corner of the tent and there is absolutely no odor from it. With the lid closed I use the top for standing a lamp on. Just as useful to have in a camper-trailer that has no bathroom. Now I am looking on ebay for another one to give to my son and his wife who like to tent camp with their two very young children. It will be such a convenience to have at night-time in particular, when the children need to use it. I thoroughly recommend these portable flushing toilets that take the waste into an enclosed holding tank. Easy to use and completely clean.

This item is strong, convenient, and a very good value. However it has a very shallow bowl, and does NOT have an adult size seat as claimed. My behind hangs over the back, and my male parts are touching the very shallow bowl that I am going to the bathroom in. It is very well made for a 95 lb female, or children. Also, do NOT carry the used bottom section by the convenient handle because it will leak waste where you don't want it.

This toilet was very awesome to have for when you did not wanna get up and walk to the restroom in the middle of the pitch black night When we were camping in the woods! It was easy to flush and also easy to clean out when our camping trip was over I would definitely recommend this to everyone as a must have for camping trip needs! It looks just like the picture

It is very good quality and works as described, easy to maintain and doesn't allow odors to escape that I can tell either.

I didn't expect a great product for the price, but I had hoped for better. We used it for a week long camping trip on a deck boat. The seal between the top and lower tank was easily dislodged and would leak (all over the floor). We had to wrap it in a trash bag. The latches that hold the top and bottom together were flimsy and would come unlatched when someone other than a 60 pound child would sit on it which would make it leak. Anyone that weighed over 150 lbs. would crush it. The pump was flimsy and took twice the plunges one would think to fill the bowl. After dumping and cleaning it, I literally left it in the dumpster at the boat ramp coming off the lake.
