    replacement

    It is a great replacement and fits the Oster base really well and tight, (no leaks!) which is the most important thing but the old lid on my Oster jar model that broke did not fit because it is a few mm wider. The only thing is that I wish this came with its own lid. Maybe the lid of other smaller at the top Oster jar models will fit.

    Cover-lid not the Same

    Unfortunately, the replacement, glass jar for my new Oster blender doesn't quite go with the lid provided with the original, plastic jar. I ordered a new lid, which I think will fit properly, but it was sent to the wrong address. It may still arrive here, where I'm currently located. Then, we'll see.

    Worked fine for a few weeks then cracked in the dishwasher.

    The replacement 5 cup glass jar cracked from washing it in the dishwasher. We probably should have put the $ toward a new blender...let's see if they replace it...
