It is what to be expected for a low cost replica decorative sword. Appearance wise it looks ok, but nothing beyond that. It is not sharpened which I expected so not an issue. It is for a gift far a grandson. There is no comparison to my hand forged samurai swords collections from the most well known Asian sword masters of which I currently have 12 and another folded carbon steel samurai sword from another Asian company. If you were to compare, it would get zero stars, for what it is for the price it is worth 4 stars.

I got my sword for about $20, which I innately though was a steal. Once I got it and opened it up, I was a little upset. The hand guard and a lot of the decoration was loose and shakes. The blade itself was blunt. I like doing nerdy thing like real life fruit ninja, and this doesn't cut it (pun intended). However, for $20, it is a good deal. I can sharpen it and the carbon steel blade holds an edge much better than stainless steel. This would be a good first or second sword if you are beginning a collection, need a sword for cosplay, or just want a pointy stick.

Unless one wants wall decoration ,don't waste your money on this one. It looks great, but that's the only redeeming quality it has.

The design is beautiful it's a good display item. It's not very sharp and the blade is way to flexible but it's decent for the cost.
