Though not advertised as such, this film is an obvious update of LITTLE MISS MARKER. The outcome is also obvious, and all obstacles to the three leads forming a happy family are very easily overcome. Tony Curtis's business dealings at a Lake Tahoe casino get equal time with the plight of a little girl who is abandoned there, which means kids may get bored by the long stretches of adult-male gambling and business negotiations. Yet the little girl (Claire Wilcox) is cute, and the trip to 1960s-era Disneyland is fascinating by modern standards --- like time travel to the past --- so the movie is enjoyable in a sweet, nostalgic way. Appropriate for all ages. Objectively, not an Oscar contender, but it has a certain charm and you may find yourself watching it more than once.

From the cinematography, to the characters and fashions, I smiled the whole time! Really enjoyed their “nostalgic trip” to Disneyland, that brought back a lot of memories, and from a moral point of view, It was “refreshingly decent”. I loved the little girl’s performance, she was “perfect”.😁
