Great sellers and great item!! Even though the listing said it would be coming from Greece (was dealing with an Amazon issue) they used their Amazon stock to get it to me in a couple of days instead of a couple of weeks! These guys rock and make an amazing F'n product! K5-pro to me is a universal thermal pad solution. Best part is you don't even need to get the thickness. If you're unsure just dallop a little more. So far I've done about 20 systems of all kinds and had no issues at all.

An improvement on thermal pads
My laptop fan still spins up a bit more than it should, but it is a big improvement compared to when there was a thermal pad there. I can also see that in the future it will be much better to have this in my parts box than having to find the right size/thickness of thermal pads.

Doesn't work that well.
I had put a thick blob of arctic silver on the GPU of my Dell E6410 because it's all I had at the time. While looking into replacement pads I read about this k5 stuff saying it's better than the pads. I got it today and cleaned off all of the arctic silver and replaced the chipset and GPU paste with the K5. After starting a few programs and checking my monitor I found the GPU running about 10 degrees Celsius higher than the arctic silver. So I had to remove the K5 and put the arctic silver back on. I had put a thick blob of arctic silver on the GPU of my Dell E6410 because it's all I had at the time. Unique thermal pad alternative
Thanks to this product I finally got rid of thermal pads. On a system that I used for testing GPU temperature with K5 PRO was 16 degrees lower than with original thermal pad. You just need to plave a generous amount on the GPU core and thats it. Heatsink does the spreading

Excellent compound. Worked great on RAM chips that had a gap between motherboard and heatsink. It is non-conducting as the description states and drops my temps 20C.
