This unit works very well concidering it age. Little better than the old chess challenger set in that it saves the game in memory. Dont get it wrong the chess chanllengers computers by fidelity are excellent to play against. The chess LCD display on this unit is a little weak but can be adjusted. Excellent manuel clearly written. Im using my own pieces which are magnetic and stick to the board firmly after glowing Neodynem magnets to the bottom of each piece. The computer comes with plastic magnetic pieces. This board is pressure sensitive as well as led lit peice positions. The LCD displays positions as well. Great product once sold by radio shack to bad the company isnt around here where I live any more.
