I build race car chassis and roll cages. Wanted something to get my head into tight spaces and this thing does the job. The only thing I think could be better is if the lenses were one piece (like in most every hood) rather then separate left and right. Other then that I think this is a great well made product. Wouldn't think anyone would use it all the time but definitely has its place.

If your looking for something to get your head in to tight spaces then this will do the trick. The lens'S are great but would be better if it was One lens... the separation messes with your eyes. It's missing shade 10, the numbers skip from 9 to 11. The Hood is a bit uncomfortable and, the lens's easily fog up, this is the most frustrating thing when your trying to get it done in some upside down position. Build quality is OK could be better. These are a good idea that was almost executed correctly ... it' would only take only a few tweaks to get it right. It's the best set of weld goggles on the market as far as I can see. So until someone gets it right this is your best option.

The Weld-Mask is light weight and does not put weight on your head like traditional welding helmets, but requires a decent head cover for protection from sparks.. The only drawback for me is the price.
