Great concept but laser comes out with the batteries and is pretty hard to get back to perfectly square again. I had to cut notches in the head so I could twist it with a screw driver while it's on and follow a yard stick butted against the body. Even then I'd say it's close but not perfectly square. I should still be able to get a good starting point but for the price I feel it should start and stay perfectly square. Also lasers aren't perfect dots more like a small line which should be straight with the arrow direction not sideways making it hard to get good accuracy.

I’m trying to learn some of the bow setup procedures and this laser level sure makes setting up the center shot much easier. My bowtech can do it by eyeing it for the most part. This tool just confirms how good he is!

I am meticulous in my bow set up routine, comparing it to building a house. It all starts with a solid foundation. I used a digital scale to measure the center shot, and made adjustments later. I ordered the OMP tool to help this process and save time. The first thing I noticed was the all aluminum construction, no plastic here. I really liked the tool less attachment screws and the laser head which moved smoothly. I previously set up a bow using the digital scale. I attached the OMP laser in less than a minute. I centered the laser over the center of the arrow beginning at the nock. When I turned the laser slowly I was amazed to see the red dot move from the center of the arrow, to the left by the time it reached the front of the riser. I thought the tool must not have been mounted correct, so I checked it again. No change! I moved the rest slightly until the red dot tracked the entire length of the arrow. Once that was done I shot two arrows through the paper and was thrilled to see perfect bullet holes. So of course I started checking other bows in the shop and discovered most all were mis-alighned.. Of course you have to be careful with this because everyone's form is slightly different. But what a time saver! Customers who watched the process returned to the shop with their bows to have them checked and found similar results. So is the OMP laser aligher worth the money? Absolutely!Read full review

This product mounts very easily and is quick to setup up with the thumb lever switches. I was easily able to use it to find the center-shot and adjust the rest of my bow's setup accordingly to help get the bow tuned quickly.
