Very economical and effective
I really like this electric trimmer for our large rental house. You will need a super long extension cord, but it's worth it for a $50 trimmer. The trimmer works well on grass, but has a little trouble on larger weeds or errant thin branches. The spools are easy to replace but do go fast. Make sure you buy extra spools. All told, this is a smart purchase.

Yes I do think it is a 5 star product! If you compare this model to my original grass hog, smile, its a winner and people don't laugh when they see me use it! Yes its corded, but is very powerful, easy to use, has a great balance and is simple to use. on my thirty by sixty front lawn set on a sloped area of about forty degrees. It has been redesigned in a million ways and makes a great machine!Yes I do think it is a 5 star product! You got to love an electric trimmer. It never fails to start, no matter how long it sits in the shed. Great trimmer for the money, but it would have been a lot better has there been more line on the spool.

This Black and Decker 6.5 amp string trimmer is amazing. It cuts through thick tall weeds like butter and does not get bunched up like the popular 2 string trimmer does. This one is easy to put together and easier to use. It has power to spare and cuts my entire back yard in about an hour. I give out but the trimmer is ready to cut more.. I highly recommend this electric trimmer for senior citizens due to its light weight and ease of handling. Great product for the money.This Black and Decker 6.5 amp string trimmer is amazing.
