I had a Logitech G600 that I was using everyday and just wasn't cutting it for FPS gaming because it was too heavy and oversized. I originally grew up playing Counter Strike with a BASIC Logitech mouse that is shaped more or less like this G100 and decided it was time to go back to what I was used to all those years ago. This thing is perfect in weight, texture, and handling palm sweatiness. The buttons click and respond perfect and the sensor is perfectly accurate. The best part, is the Logitech gaming software that allows you to adjust the DPI switch from 1-5 different customized DPI settings. I use 3 different settings which has served me perfect for Overwatch. I have 650, 1000, and 1450 setup. 650 is for when I'm sniping with widowmaker, 1000 is for every other character, and 1450 is for working on my desktop. Even when I shutdown the logitech software, the DPI settings are saved on device. I can't find any cons about this mouse, I actually prefer it over even a $100 mouse. Sometimes basic and to the point, is the best way to go. (with the added flexibility of multiple custom DPI settings at the push of a button) Some people may not like that the mouse cord isn't braided, but I prefer it not to be so it doesn't snag on anything. Cons: No flashy LED's... boohoo, get over it, trust me. It's not worth passing up just because of that. Buy this mouse, you will not regret it. Read full review

This mouse is actually very efficient, the mouse has a nice scroll wheel, a DPI swapper with 3 different DPI settings on it, the size is comfortable, not to big not to small just right, and I recieved my mouse within only a few days. I am greatful to have found this mouse on quite a good deal.

The Logitech G100S Mouse is an amazing mouse to begin for gaming applications. To begin, when holding in my hand for the first time, it felt lighter than expected, but the more I used it, the better the control was. Since I have mainly used a Logitech M510 wireless mouse in the past, this has been a major upgrade when playing PC games (obviously). The left and right click buttons are very responsive and provide a satisfying click when pressed. The DPI switch in the center provides three settings that change the mouse sensitivity from low, medium and high DPI (1000, 1750, and 2500 DPI, respectively). The main setting I have it on is 1750 DPI, and is the best feel for everyday use. From product specs, the polling rate is 500 hz and works fine when playing online first person shooter games, such as Battlefield 4. The only drawback is that I wish there were adjustable weight options for the G100S, as I have seen on some other gaming mouses. But I don't see that as too much of a problem because the learning curve will basically overcome the lack of weight in the mouse. Overall, this mouse has not given me other problems, and I would definitely recommend this to a friend getting into gaming on a low budget.Read full review

I bought two of these. They are lightweight. They are extremely responsive. They are much better than average laser mice in this price range. My only concern is the on screen pointer seems to drift once in a while. It happens on both of them so it could be a design issue. But overall pretty good for the $11.99ea I paid for them.

I own a lot of Logitech peripherals, and I got this for my work PC. Hands down a great mouse, and I would pay more than the asking price for one if I had to. Definitely another quality device from Logitech.
