I paid for quick shipment and the vendor came through. This is a best buy as you can pay upwards $10 for these. Many of these Shenzen USB to TTL converters have problems being recognized by the OS. I can verify this product was easily ID'd by Windows 10 and connects soundly. I' using these for the interactive programming interface for Mecrisp-Stellaris Forth Environment. Ordered 5 and all five work. This has become my goto USB/TTL bridging device so will have to order more.

I use this device for my Arduino and Sonoff projects and it works as advertised. High speed loads and switchable between 5 and 3 volts. Plus, they kick-in connecting jumpers - nice. Although, I wish that the USB connector on the board was the new standard mini USB rather than the older style.

Works well for programming Arduino Mini, also acts as a voltage regulator. Plugs into a breadboard easily, but would be nice if it had female headers so you could plug in the board directly. Great buy, great to have one in the top box so I can use inexpensive Minis in projects later.

Easy installation instructions (if you can solder) but operational instructions can be a little confusing. It does make it somewhat easy to upgrade your Gotek firmware for enhanced operation.

Working just fine for my Arduino project. I needed to install Windows 7 drivers, as they are not automatically found by windows. Search "Virtual COM Port Drivers - FTDI Chip" Supplies connected equipment with +5V directly from USB (up to current limits of your USB port/hub, I expect), or with +3.3V from chip's internal converter, which is limited to about 50mA as I understand it. Set included jumper accordingly, and connect external power source as needed. GIven that I'll be plugging/unplugging often from devices, I am planning on wrapping in protective heat shrink, and maybe molding over USB jack with epoxy for reinforcement.
