It was the first dashcam so I spent a lot of time to find the best one. "Dash cam central" youtube channel helped me a lot with comparing different models. They have a video about this dash cam too. A lot of things I line in this dash cam: separate power connector on GPS mount, quick mount&release connector to the mount, great image quality on 1440p30fps, camera pointing configure mechanism. All options related to a dash cam are working well. I also tried it's LDWS and you're_too_close_to_the_next_car warnings but they're spammed with false positives and angered me so I turned them off. I suggest to buy at least 32GB card for it. On the maximum quality 8GB card is only enough for 2 hr of recording (3 min videos was ~450MB).

Got it new, set it up, and been using it for a few weeks until it started giving me hard-time with constantly flashing and beeping on Memory Error message. Memory card is Sony class 10 64G, e.g. in line with specs required. Also every time I start my engine the thing asks for memory formatting, have no idea why. Will try to swap the memo card, but not sure if this is where the problem lies in. other than that, it is a good value for he money - lol!

as a successor to the A118C I've been using for the past 2 years, this is great. improvements in every aspect: video quality and sharpness in day and night, slimmer profile, lens angle adjustment and the option for a CPL lens filter. the addition of a GPS module is nice and make connecting the DVR much better than without it (as the power plug is on the side of the DVR body which can make it difficult to position the DVR as wanted on the windshield). the driving aids for lane switching and collision alert do not seem to work, but this isn't a must have for me and could be only a matter of setting them up correctly. I definitely recommend it, but look for coupons online before purchasing as the price can vary by as much 20USD.

Works really well even during nighttime driving. I like it a lot and I'll be purchasing another one to use in the rear. Very easy to set up and to use, I had it up and running in about 5 minutes. Just be sure to choose a good SD card as cheaper ones will quickly wear out due to the intensive write/overwrite operations typical to dashcams and surveillance cams.

Before buying it I`ve done a research of a DVR market and concluded that this camera offers the best functionality for the price. 2560x1440 resolution, easy mounting, capacitors, GPS and good overall quality make this dash cam the BEST choice in 2017 (at least at the moment).
