Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Stage Lighting: Single Units
I'm no qualified technician, but this unit was fairly straight forward to install. I got two lasers up and running in just a few hours. * Note: The ILDA connection does not use all 25 pins and will not pass the signal through to a unit that does. It did work fine, however, passing the signal (and images) to a second identical unit. ** Also, the laser diode connections had to be wired with reverse polarity. Not a big deal and possible every projector is different, but just so you know - if the lasers do not come on when ILDA signal is applied, cut the +/- wires and reverse them on each of the RGB diode connections. Overall - good install and they work well.

Was up and running with the new scanners in about 15 minutes. Everything works together well, and the scanning quality has been amazing. Only change I had to make is reverse the polarity of the laser outputs to drive my existing TTL Laser drivers properly, but that was just flipping the pins in the connectors.

My daughter wants to build a laser harp using a Raspberry Pi microcomputer - purchasing this seemed like a good place to begin. The user manual was missing but the connections were obvious enough to connect the components together - all cables were provided. [The user info was later quickly e-mailed on request.] We plugged it together, connected line power, shined a laser pointer on one of the mirrors and were treated to the demo light show provided by the display card. We will need DACs (or ILDA box) to drive the mirrors and a laser module. Being new to this discipline - we were very impressed and satisfied.

This is a lot of fun to use. After cutting up an old computer power cord for the power supply, I could project the pre-programmed images from the show card onto the wall with my laser pointer. Once I added a more "serious" TTL-driven laser, the connecting lines from the images were no longer present. The show card includes a microphone and can be set to respond to audio as well.

The galvo system handled my workloads at 20K pps without issue. The electronics appear to be reasonably well made, especially for the price. I hooked it up to an ILDA compliant interface and added a TTL laser, and was able to draw simple images with no issues. It is a great piece of hardware. Just be realistic with the type of workload you want it to display. 20K pps will work, but 30K pps is really too much data for this galvo to display accurately.
