I should have noticed that the fluid level window faces forward, away from the rider - which seems a bit odd, but maybe that's just me. Also on a '79 CX500C the outlet fitting facing forward instead of toward bike-center forces a rotation of the line which works, but isn't ideal for the built-in bend of stock banjo end-fitting, and more importantly dust cover. It'd be fine with aftermarket line with straight fitting.
