The flashlights were great and so were the batteries. But when you put them together they are loose and the light comes off the battery. I solved the problem by taping them together by wrapping Scotch tape around them. Now I am happy AGAIN, OTHERWISE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FIVE STARS! (For some reason my Duracell batteries fit just right.)

Lot of light, but definitely overkill with 6 lights. A single bulb is sufficient for a light like this (I have one) and the extra bulbs make the light considerably bigger than it needs to be. I do like the light overall as it is handy and easy to carry around. Since buying these lights, I have gone through 5 9volt batteries. None of the original batteries lasted more than 2 days WITHOUT EVEN BEING USED. The 2 new Duracell batteries (2020) did not fare any better. Only 1 of the lights seems to work as expected and the other 2 simply drain batteries even without any use.

These are a great idea in concept. With 3 settings for 2 or 4 or 6 LEDs, they offer a variety of light. I bought them to place in a day pack for hiking. If we find ourselves on the trail after dark as happens on rare occasion, we are better prepared with much more light than our smart phones offer. I bought 3 of them. Unfortunately all 3 come apart way too easily. Regular handling quickly finds them in two pieces. What would have made the product so much better is a plastic shroud covering 50% of the battery to keep it together. I have to use electrical tape to keep mine together which is surely not ideal. I can buy cheap LED flashlights for $1 or $2 that are finicky. At $5 each, I expected better.

The 3 light-intensity choices 2-4-6 is great. The size is great. Unfortunately the 9 volt snap-together connection is very weak, so much that simple handling of the assembly has the flashlight portion falling on the floor. It should have been made with a shroud covering 50% of the 9 volt battery so it won't pivot apart so very easily. I bought 3 and they all have the exact same problem. I use electrical tape to hold them together which is a bandaid solution, and a poor one at that.

These lights are ok but they have a touch button on switch so if you carry it in a pocket or a tool box or a shirt pocket or anywhere it constantly goes on by itself. When it does if it is in your pocket it heats up badly enough that the switch overheats expands and it wont shut off so you have to pop it off the battery. If you plan on leaving it on a bench, desk top. Or night table it should be ok, but if you need to carry it around , stay away, it needs a slide switch.
