I bought this for a small vacuum fixture on a CNC mill with about 4 sq inches of area. It pulls full vacuum in the tank (we're at 6000 ft) within about 30 seconds and stays at that vacuum all day. To use it this way you will need to put a long hose on the exhaust and a small cooling fan on the pump section. The cooling fan makes me feel better, may not need it. The stock vent is too short and oil runs out when the pump warms up. Besides those issues it works surprisingly well.

Silicone gasket around the rim of the pot forms the seal with the acrylic lid. Latches can be used to lock the lid in place. Simple assembly. Great value. Using it to remove bubbles from mold mixes.

I haven't gotten to use it for what I actually bought it for, but I have tested it and it works great! Good value!

Better than I thought it would be. Perfect size for my needs. Used it a few times and have had no problems. I highly recommend it.

Assembly instructions refer to a non-existent picture. There are no instructions on how to assemble the lid. I believe I have it right this time, but this is my third attempt. The instructions do mention several times how dangerous this setup can be. Several times. And yet, there are no instructions on critical components. Look, ma, I blew a hole in the roof. Ma? Ma? Where are you?
