okay one thing you're going to need is a cigarette lighter plug because both of your hot wires coming from camera and from backup camera will go into that cigarette lighter plug. the one red wire on the back that's on the yellow plug which is your backup cam will plug into the positive on your reverse light. so make sure you get the right wire for the reverse light the positive wire to the reverse light. and check everything before you put everything back in the trunk. took a couple of hours
