Replaced a 2.5 gpm axial pump with this 2.5 gpm triplex pump. With the open slots for mounting, this pump should fit any square bolt spacing. Didn't know a set screw for the keyway was in the bag with the breather, would have saved me a trip to the hardware store. Nice to be able to unload the pump for starting, but the unloader does stick a bit when the engine is started and raising the pressure back up. Do it slow and the unloader unsticks and then works normally. Using a Honda GC160 engine, am able to generate 2200 psi using a 3.5 nozzle. With a 3.0 nozzle the GC160 really drags down and holds 2500 psi, but the engine is obviously struggling. Probably need a GC190 engine for the 3.0 nozzles, which should get you around 2750 psi (per the books). To get to 3000 psi, you'll need even more engine. Overall, the triplex crankshaft design should be much more durable than the axial pump my unit came with. The sight glass for the oil level is nice. After ~4 hours of use the new oil is already darkening, so I will drain the break-in oil and replace soon. Am very pleased with the pump. It's a durable design (compared to axial pumps), is a complete unit with nothing extra needed and installed easily.Read full review

I couldn't believe how much stronger this pump was than the old one. I have a pressure washer with a 6.5 horsepower Honda engine, and this pump really puts out the water with that combination. It feels like the pressure washer at a hand car wash. It was a bolt-on replacement mounting onto the standard Honda GX 260 engine shaft.

Easy to install with everything included to run. This pump performs awesome and rivals a more expensive one that have used. Pressure easily adjustable and volume is great. I will re-evaluate my review in a few months of use but if Performance continues will be the best value ever

Had it on for more then a year now, being used almost daily! Running +90°c water, as well as cold, as the water can get from the well, for up to 4 hours of use at a time. No problems at all, very powerful right on the mark! Currently washing heavy duty equipment with inches of dirt, mud and debris ect. I do recommend to change the oil once a year if you want it to last. Runs real well with 6.5 Honda engine. Built my own mounting and everything on wheels with pressure reel works good. Will buy again!

Bought this to replace an 1800 psi pump on a 5 hp Craftsman pressure washer. Unit bolted up perfectly to the Briggs engine with four bolts and worked well, increased my capacity to about 3000 psi measured at the pump discharge. Much heavier and better quality than the original unit. Nice large oil sight glass too.
